INLAWCO advises worldwide banks and financial institutions in their finance projects. We mainly assist and advise our clients on the drafting of specific loan agreements and agreements related to securities.

Our specialized lawyers have an established track record in banking transactions, project finance and setting up bond issuance projects in European finance markets. Luxembourg partners in association with Istanbul and London Offices, coordinated the setting up of bond issuances in liaison with issuing sponsors, banks, tax advisors and clients.

Our main references in this matter are :

  • Advising a switzerland based bank on structuring of various specific investment models in Turkey. Latest transactions included loan agreements and all related guarantee agreements including mortgages, pledges and escrow for a project finance over 20 billion Euros.

  • Assisting one of world’s largest bank and financial institution on 18 billion USD credit line agreements with a major Turkish company. Such transaction included security agreements, pledge agreements over shares and commercial enterprise.

  • Assisting a German bank related to a credit facility agreement. Our lawyers have also structured all related guarantee agreements including mortgages, pledges and escrow.

  • INLAWCO Partner has been actively involved into the incorporation of a real-estate 600 million Euros SICAR in relation to DEUTSCHE BANK Spain and Deutsche Bank Frankfort offices.

  • Advising a Geneva based bank related to banking law issues and financial transactions in Turkey.

  • Acting in the name of COFACE, the French Credit Insurance Company, for its incorporation process in Turkey and following corporate law and contract law assistance.

  • Advising a Belgian credit insurance company on major finance projects in Turkey. INLAWCO drafted international loan agreements and all agreements related to securities under Turkish laws.

  • Inlawco partner assisted world’s 10th largest Kazakhstan based company, producer for both mined and refined copper. He conducted negotiations in the headquarters of the company in Zhezkazgan and provided legal consultation, drafted industrial agreements.

  • Incorporation of the European leading mining company in Turkey, assisting the company for six years under Turkish Energy law regarding mining licenses, real estate acquisitions, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate law matters.

  • Assisting an American gold company in Turkey, with respect to mining acquisition projects, litigation issues and power of attorneys drafted pursuant to international rules, etc.

OECD report: Turkey’s growth will surpass India’s by 2017


Turkey's growth rate is expected to rank third after China and India in coming years and to pass India and take the second spot by 2017 among Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries, according to a new report.

The Agricultural Outlook report estimates that China's growth rate will drop to 8.2 percent from double digit rates after 2010. Turkey is expected to rank third for growth rate in the next 10 years, right after India and China. India will see a higher growth rate than Turkey until 2014; then, the report predicts, its annual growth rate will decline to 5.3 percent while that of Turkey will continue to climb, exceeding this rate. Russia is expected to rank directly below Turkey in the next 10 years.
